Refactoring of the code that handles transformations and snapping in the selector tool and the node tool. Splitting large chunks of code into some small classes, and eliminating some wrapper methods which were all just too similar

Factored layer model out into new Inkscape::LayerModel class. This allows Inkscape::Selection to use a LayerModel that is not associated with a UI. Changed the interface of verbs (SPAction) to use a new ActionContext rather than UI::View::View, again so that verbs may be used in a console mode. Modified boolean operation verbs to work in console-only mode. Fixed up DESKTOP_IS_ACTIVE macro to work in the case of no desktops. Modified main.cpp to process selections and verbs in no-GUI mode. Other changes are all consequences of the SPDesktop, Selection and LayerModel interface changes.

Add possibility to check validity of attributes and usefulness of properties. This code adds the ability to check for every elment in an SVG document if its attributes are valid and the styling properties are useful. Options under the SVG Output section of the Inkscape Preferences dialog control what should be checked when, and what actions should be taken if invalid attributes or non-useful properties are found.

Refactored to abstract lcms usage more. Added CMSSystem class.

Next step in refactoring color management. More to come.

Added part of a patch by Adam Strzelecki which makes GTK menu migrate to OS X menubar when GTK+quartz is used. This is taken from Gimp and should be safe enough at this stage since it really only affects OS X.

Fundamentally reworked version of the 3D box tool (among many other things, this fixes bugs #168900 and #168868). See mailing list for details. Sorry for this single large commit but it was unfeasible to keep the history.

* src/Makefile_insert, src/Makefile.am, src/svg/Makefile_insert, src/xml/Makefile_insert, src/libnr/Makefile_insert: Add "$(srcdir)/" to some things so that "make check" works in the case that the build directory is somewhere other than the source directory.

Previously graph layout was done using the Kamada-Kawai layout algorithm implemented in Boost. I am replacing this with a custom implementation of a constrained stress-majorization algorithm. The stress-majorization algorithm is more robust and has better convergence characteristics than Kamada-Kawai, and also simple constraints can be placed on node position (for example, to enforce downward-pointing edges, non-overlap constraints, or cluster constraints). Another big advantage is that we no longer need Boost. I've tested the basic functionality, but I have yet to properly handle disconnected graphs or to properly scale the resulting layout. This commit also includes significant refactoring... the quadratic program solver - libvpsc (Variable Placement with Separation Constraints) has been moved to src/libvpsc and the actual graph layout algorithm is in libcola.
