<para>
Glibmm is a set of C++ bindings for Glib2 Library, including cross-platform
APIs such as a std::string-like UTF8 string class, string utility methods, such
as a text encoding converter API, file access, and threads.
</para>
<para>
Please note that these C++ interfaces are built with the Sun Studio C++
Compiler and compiled with the -compat=5 C++ compiler option, so version 5
(Standard Mode) of the C++ ABI standard is used.
</para>
<para>
To access the API documentation, you must install the developer version
of the package.
