98N/ATo change a setting in the configuration files (xdm-config, Xaccess,

98N/AXresources, Xservers), edit the copies in /etc/X11/xdm or create a new

98N/Adirectory for your configuration and copy the appropriate files there.

98N/ATo change the actions performed by one of the scripts, copy it to your

98N/Aconfiguration directory, edit the copy, and then edit the path to it in

98N/Athe xdm-config file for your configuration.
