18861N/A<
para>Songbird is a desktop media player or "jukebox" with a uniquely open approach to internet digital media network services.
18861N/A<
para>Songbird runs on Mozilla's XULRunner platform and utilizes the GStreamer media framework for media playback. It supports a wide range of audio formats (including raw audio, FLAC, Speex and ogg-vorbis). Note that you may need to purchase and install additional GStreamer plugins to support some media formats.
18861N/A<
para>The Songbird Webpage API enables you to embed player functionality into a web site so it can interact with the Songbird media player.
18861N/A<
para>Songbird stores a user's personal information such as music libraries, bookmarks, extensions, and user preferences in a unique profile. The first time you start Songbird, it will automatically create a default profile.
