L'objectiu d'aquest projecte �s crear un corrector ortogr�fic multiplataforma de lliure distribuci� que es pugui fer servir en tots els programes que s'estan traduint al catal�. L'idea es crear un l�xic i unes regles ortogr�fiques i realitzar versions de les mateixes per iSpell, MySpell, AsPell. S'han tingut molt en compte les diferents variants dialectals, especialment el valenci� i el balear.
L'�nica versi� d'un corrector en catal� d'aquesta mena que coneixem �s l'Ispell d'en Ignasi Labastida que podeu trobar aqu�. Durant molt anys ha estat la pe�a en catal� de refer�ncia en aquesta �rea, des de Softcatal� hem decidit comen�ar de nou en quelcom m�s sofisticat i elaborat. La feina de l'Ignasi ens ha servit per afinar i constrastar la nostra feina.
Que s'ha fet

B�, s'ha creat un l�xic i les corresponents regles perqu� el diccionari pugui declinar les paraules correctament. Actualment el diccionari funciona b� per� hi ha encara problemes que s'han de corregir. Si vols con�ixer amb m�s detall el seu estat baixa-te'l.
Coses pedents
-------------
Provar el corrector per detectar-ne els errors. Els primers que poden inaugurar la llista:
- Falten plurals i femenins (p.e ell/ella/ells/elles). S'haurien de provar sobretot els pronoms.
- Hi ha paraules no admeten la preposici� de (p.e d'on). Crec que s�n sobretot adverbis i pronoms.
- Es considera incorrecte "�s" (en maj�scules). .
- Si s'accepta una proposta amb un ap�strof, OpenOffice no el canvia per un ap�strof tipogr�fic. Sospit que aix� no es pot arreglar des de MySpell, per� s'hauria d'investigar m�s
- Els suggeriments no tenen gaire qualitat, ja que no es comen�a pels errors m�s habituals, ni es proposen paraules a m�s d'una letra de dist�ncia. Crec que tenc un pla que pot marxar per arreglar les dues coses alhora.

Hay una problema en la manera de activar la diccionario de Catalan.

The Comprehensive Danish Dictionary (DSDO) is a free spell-checking dictionary
for Danish published by Sk�ne Sj�lland Linux User Group (SSLUG). One thing
which makes this dictionary different from most other dictionaries is that it
basically is the result of a vote among the proof-readers. The editorial
group has _not_ proof-read all the words in the dictionary, but guides the
proof-readers and keeps track of the overall status of the dictionary.
