lib: fix md4/md5 buffer read overrun uint_fast32_t may be 64 bits and read too many bytes at the end of the buffer. This didn't actually break anything as long as there was 32 bits of readable memory past the buffer.

Try to avoid (void) casts by adding more ATTR_NOWARN_UNUSED_RESULT.

Make sure we check all the functions' return values. Minor API changes to simplify this. Checked using a patched clang that adds attribute(warn_unused_result) to all functions. This commit fixes several error handling mistakes.

liblib: Added a common API for accessing all hash methods.
